In today's digital world, how do we really know each other?
On my creative coding journey, I sought to question how code could be brokered in a domain that I regularly connect within, both as a contributor and as a consumer. I have always been interested in how social media platforms operate as a community (and endless subcommunities) in which we share and connect our interests.
Though boundless in the digital sphere, through the obstruction of our physical screens, where does the depth of our connection fall short? And is there a way to subvert this barrier?
Utilising Instagram's interactive features, I presented a series of questions that prompted my fellow 'users' to be an active participant on the social platform. I brokered code by visualising the datasets and presenting them within the same domain, to allow both contributors and audiences to learn more about each other.
