About

As a digital designer, my practice encompasses a wide range of interdisciplinary skills across interface and product design, brand identity, web, illustration, motion, and beyond. At the core of everything, my work is informed by an iterative design process and user-centred principles that are built around compassion and sincere care for the user.

Inclusivity and equality are important values that mark my design process and work ethos, always aiming to provide creative, equitable, and valuable solutions to every unique situation. This includes upholding current WCAG 2 standards and actively implementing accessibility principles beyond minimum requirements. I truly believe in the power of celebrating our cultural experiences and sharing our stories with one another to better understand both our communities and ourselves.

In addition to all things creative, I love to read, cafe-hop, birdwatch, and practice needlelace. I am also not averse to climbing a tree or jumping in a puddle or two. Whether as a designer or not, I'm always interested in learning from and contributing to mission-driven spaces that foster connection and community. As an active member of
An.Other Collective, an artist collective of Muslim creatives navigating identity and culture, I have been lucky enough to fulfil this consistently, supporting and facilitating community workshops and events.

This website was created on the unceded territory of the Wurundjeri people, the Traditional and Rightful Custodians of this Land, on which I live, create, and work. Sovereignty was never ceded. I pay respect to the Elders past and present of the Kulin Nation, and extend that respect to all other First Nations. I commit to working towards an equitable and reconciled 'Australia', both as a human and designer.

Always was, always will be.
